Nah I feel like some of y’all are getting this so wrong. I don’t think it’s correct to say that “earth 42 miles was supposed to be spider man” and “our miles is supposed to be prowler” it’s literally they could’ve been either or none at all. The fact that they “swapped places” shows that. We can’t all for sure say that if our miles wasn’t bitten he would’ve been prowler. It’s possible, but we have no way of knowing. But that’s also like the whole point right? Miles is fighting against the idea of a canon event and a predestined path, which aligns with the idea of the potential to be either prowler or spider man or neither. If the first movie was “anyone can wear the mask” then this movie is “what happens when people don’t believe you should” and saying that there’s a strict order everyone and everything has to follow. We got to allow some flexibility, unpredictability, and wiggle room here. It’s all about the butterfly effect people. Anything can happen.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Oh boy, this question.

Five years ago (almost to the day!) I was promoted to Marketing Manager at W Seattle. It was the proudest I’ve ever felt about my career self. 2019 Julia would have probably still seen herself moving to California, hoping to be married with kids and owning a house in five years.

Five years before that I was dating and living with my bf at the time, Dan. I was blogging full time (loved it so much) but very unhappy and lost. 2014 Julia would have seen herself probably married with kids with Dan somewhere in WA state and running her own business.

Here’s what I hope: I hope in five years I’m happy and healthy and financially stable. Whatever happens, I hope it’s fun and lovely and full of laughter and the people I love are also happy and healthy.

Change is the only constant, babyyyy.

love that with the new rendition of the sparrows, the lot of them get fucked over by their client, and while this is rather distasteful and also, of course, bad, and everyone acts absurdly shocked benji is just like ":( this is the second time this week that this has happened, awh well 😔" and immediately leaves to get a bagel <3

Advice to people who want to write smut? I feel like mine is too long winded and unnecessarily detailed

Not even gonna lie here, writing smut is so much harder than it seems. Figuring out which details arent important, figuring out which are. It's kind of a pain in the ass.

HOWEVER- I happen to be someone who likes to read all the details, whatever said details might be. Whether it's minor plot points that are mentioned (if you choose to include bits of plot, that is). So I say just roll with whatever comes to mind. Who cares if it's unnecessarily detailed? A lot of people like that! Build up is nice, knowing what's going on in the characters' heads is great. Something makes a character tick? Make sure it's noted!

I guess the moral of the story is to just write whatever comes to mind. Draft it out and then if you really think that something is unnecessary, cut it and replace it with something that might fit better. Take it at your own pace, even if it ends up being 10k
